Functions as a team member of the drug utilization review and medication management therapy programs within Clinical Pharmacy Services (CPS). Responsible for administering client-specific programs to provide clinical expertise in regards to prior authorization for member prescriptions and client member’s drug therapy. Participates in prospective and retrospective DUR activities including, but not limited to: handling live calls from physicians and pharmacists, reviewing appropriate drug therapy.

Oversee a group of clinical pharmacists, enhance patient care, and support key clinical programs. Engage in clinical work, mentor staff, optimize workflows, and collaborate across teams. Play a vital role in a fully remote, high-performing, and collaborative environment.

Provides clinical support to OHSU Pharmacy Benefit Management Services which includes formulary management, coverage determinations, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee support, responding to clinical inquiries, and implementing clinical programs. You will respond to clinical inquiries from members, clients, providers, or pharmacies related to formulary options, therapeutic alternatives, and coverage determinations.
